Lowell High School Choir Wins Music Competition in New York

Lowell High School’s student choir traveled to New York City during spring break to compete in a music festival called WorldStrides. They were named “Outstanding Choir” after receiving the highest overall score.

They won the following awards:

  • Chamber Choir — First Place, Gold

  • Concert Choir — Second Place, Gold

  • Adjudicator Award New York 2023

  • Outstanding Choir New York 2023

“We are an academic-driven school. To excel in choral artistry proves that we’re also talented in the arts,” said choir director Jason Chan. “As a result of our hard work, we not only won the competition but also nourished our souls with our passion for singing.”

Listen to one of their amazing performances:

Many of the students in the Lowell Choir are graduating seniors who spent many hours after school practicing and training their singing talents.

Congratulations to the members of the Lowell Concert Choir!
